28 Mar Women’s Day Clip
In everything we do at NoċeMuskata, we strive to leverage the arts for the betterment of self – and society. We have always been at the forefront of the battle for true gender equality, supporting and working with female artists and professionals in the arts and beyond. The empowerment of women through – and in – the arts is more than a belief: it is part and parcel of what we do every day. Through our work, we seek to tackle the most relevant issues of our time: from shattering glass ceilings to encouraging girls to pursue STEM subjects.
Our founder, Sarah-Lee Zammit, exemplifies our commitment to female empowerment and equality. Having gained years of experience producing stellar work, she is now focusing her efforts on empowering others to excel and realise their full potential through the arts.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Arts Council Malta asked Sarah-Lee and a few other remarkable women to share their journey and vision for the intersectionality between female empowerment and the arts.
